ResQ Zone Academy
ResQ Zone Academy is the hub for all of our life-saving—and life-changing—training sessions. As an authorized provider of American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and American College of Surgeons courses, we deliver high-quality instruction that empowers both professional and community rescuers.
We offer flexible training options: we can bring our classes to your location, or you can join us at one of our training sites. Custom and corporate training packages are also available to meet your specific needs.

ResQ Zone Lab

Let’s face it: even professional rescuers don’t use every skill every day. But consistent practice is the key to delivering high-quality care. That’s why we’re building ResQ Zone Lab.
ResQ Zone Lab will be a dedicated space for hands-on skills practice, guided by certified and experienced instructors. Using a gym-style membership model, ResQ Lab will offer flexible options—including monthly memberships and daily drop-ins—so you can keep your skills sharp and your confidence high.
Whether you’re preparing for certification, refreshing your muscle memory, or just want to stay ready, ResQ Lab will be your go-to place for real-world readiness.

Online, Hybrid, and Live Training

The American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and American College of Surgeons offer flexible options—including fully online courses, blended learning (online lecture with in-person skills), and traditional in-person classes.
Please note: Some courses cannot be completed fully online or in a blended format due to their requirements. Be sure to consult with a ResQ Zone representative to find the best option for your needs.

About the Founder
Patrick Meyers is a Certified Emergency Manager and Nationally Registered Paramedic with over two decades of experience in emergency response. Throughout his career, Patrick has served both extremely rural and remote communities as well as the busiest municipal 911 system in the world. His work in both resource-limited and resource-rich environments has given him a unique perspective on the critical role that high-quality training and education play in saving lives.
Research consistently shows that early access to effective CPR, AED use, and First Aid significantly reduces the risk of death and permanent injury. Recognizing a true medical emergency—and knowing how to respond before first responders arrive—can make all the difference. Patrick also believes that consistent training and access to realistic practice environments build confidence at every level, from community members to professional rescuers.
That belief is what led to the creation of ResQ Zone Institute. Building on the foundation of Meyers Emergency Management, ResQ Zone Institute was born from a refusal to settle for the “standard” approach. Every individual has different needs, goals, and motivations for seeking training—and ResQ Zone is here to meet them where they are. Our mission is to foster growth, build confidence, and help make communities safer, stronger, and more prepared.
